Fabio Berti, is Full Professor of Sociology at the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences of the University of Siena, where he teaches Analysis of social inequalities and Sociology in various degree and master’s degree courses. For over twenty years, using both quantitative and qualitative methods, he has been conducting research on migratory processes and on the dynamics of integration; in recent years he has been dealing with social inequalities, food poverty, degrowth theory and rural welfare.
